BOBn'

While it may not be a major milestone you read about on BabyCenter.com, it was a big day in the world of strollin' over at the Manns! It's official - we have transitioned Livi from riding in her infant car seat snapped into her BOB to sitting like a big girl in the actual seat! And you guessed it - she loves it!

The only bad part? I don't get to see her smile as we stroll. Instead, I have to peak through the top window to see her legs & feet. But at least they are cute little baby feet feeling the fresh breeze :)

I think this transition was good for Mommy too! I actually ran with the BOB for the first time and logged 2 miles! Can't wait to get back out there.

The Tank

Once you have a baby, the looks of your living room change dramatically. Our's currently features a swing, bouncy seat, Bumbo seat & a play mat. And the newest edition? It's what we like to call Olivia's "tank", an activity center surrounded by sea animals. Hence the name "tank" - like a fish tank, get it? Good!

Anyways, this "tank" is amazing! Not only does she LOVE it, it helps keep her occupied so I can do things like eat a quick lunch, take Dozer out to pee, take myself to pee...etc.

Here she is, chillin' in her "tank", happy as can be!

Very first time in the "tank"- I think she likes it :)

Hi Mom!

Trying to put everything in her mouth

Almost touching :)

Doze keeping watch!

5 Months

Yesterday, our sweet lil Livi turned 5 months!

As I do every month, I put on her monthly onesie and take pictures of her laying on the same elephant pillow (thx Auntie Jen & Uncle Ken!), in the same spot in her crib, hoping that I get at least one good pic to share with family & friends. And to proudly post on Instagram & Facebook :)

Well, in order to get ONE good one, you have to take at least 20 - ha! So here are a few "outakes" - still pretty cute in my opinion...

And the winner is...

A Day At The Park

Last weekend we decided to check out Klyde Warren Park - a new park that was built on top of the freeway, essentially connecting Uptown and Downtown Dallas.

The park is lined with food trucks, tables, kids play areas, book & board game rentals, a putting green, ping pong, bocce ball, and even has it's own dog park! They are in the process of building a restaurant & music venue too! It really is a great place to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon. We will definitely be back :)

If you look close enough, Doze is sticking his head out at the bottom - ha!

 Where is everyone?!

Doze marking friends!
